What is Massage Therapy?
Massage, originally a french word meaning “friction of kneading”, massage therapy is the process of working on the body to relieve pain and mobility issues using manually applied pressure.
Massage therapists are trained in a variety of techniques involving the application of pressure using the hands, fingers, elbows, knees, forearm feet and at times, specially designed devices.
If you suffer from pain and/or mobility issues and would like more information on the benefits of massage therapy, speak to our ProActive Registered Massage Therapists, Tesia Wilson or Kristin Ladouceur.
