Ryan grew up living in Alberta and was quite involved in many sports, especially competitive swimming and competitive soccer. Having sustained many injuries throughout his athletic endeavours, Ryan was quickly exposed to physiotherapy at a young age and was fascinated at how the human body works.
As physiotherapy combined two of his main interests - sports and human anatomy - Ryan decided to pursue that as a career. He completed his Bachelor of Arts in Human Kinetics at St. Francis Xavier University in Nova Scotia. Quickly after that he moved across the world to complete his Doctor of Physiotherapy at Bond University in sunny Gold Coast, Australia. While he was “down unda”, Ryan was presented the opportunity to complete an internship at Stanford University, so he set off for California to work alongside their NCAA athletes.
Upon graduating from his DPT, Ryan headed back to Canada and settled in the beautiful Okanagan, expanding his knowledge and skills within the ever-growing field of physio. Ryan utilizes a patient-centred approach, incorporating education and exercise prescription with his treatments, pushing every client to reach their full potential.
Outside of the clinic, Ryan enjoys exploring the beautiful hiking trails of BC, golfing, soccer, tennis, and his new-found interest of volleyball.
