Nicola graduated from the University of Western Ontario with a Masters of Physical Therapy in 2012. Prior to completing her physiotherapy degree, she graduated from the University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Science Honors Kinesiology in 2009.
Nicola worked as a Physiotherapist for 5 years in Waterloo, Ontario during which time she completed courses in Manual Therapy and acupuncture. She also completed her certification in Integrated Dry NeedlingTM, and has completed coursework in pelvic floor physiotherapy for treating female and male incontinence and pelvic pain. In 2014, Nicola completed The Discover Physio Series (ISM for Disability & Pain), and in 2015 completed the Part 4 of the Connect Therapy SeriesTM. Nicola is passionate about helping people restore optimal physical function by integrating all of her skill and treating the whole person.
During her four years at the University of Waterloo she was a member of the Women’s Varsity Rugby team. Since she no longer plays rugby, Nicola has taken up ultimate frisbee, rock climbing, snow boarding, cross country skiing, and cycling. She is excited about continuing many of these activities here in Kelowna and exploring what the mountains have to offer.
