
Barbara graduated from UBC with a Bachelors of Kinesiology in 2017 before earning a Masters of Science in Physical Therapy from the University of Alberta. Since graduating in 2019, Barbara has worked in both private and public health care settings and has experience treating a variety of musculoskeletal conditions.
Originally from Vancouver, BC, Barbara recently moved to West Kelowna in 2023. She has completed post graduate course work in running injuries and Biomedical Dry Needling. Barbara’s approach to treatment is exercise centred accompanied by manual techniques. She believes that regular exercise involving progressive strengthening and mobility are essential for long term recovery.
Barbara has been a recreational runner for many years and has a special interest in ultra marathon running. Since moving to the Okanagan, she has participated in several ultra marathons in the area. She has also recently discovered a love for aerial sports and cross country skiing which she incorporates into her training.
